“Awesome” sex is about health of body, mind and spirit, authentic communication between people, acceptance, respect for yourself and others, vulnerability, trust and contribution. If we utilized these amazing qualities, what miracles would be available to us as individuals, to our families, to our communities, to our nations…..to the world? The same conversations required for World Peace!
Maggie Rast is the founder of World Peace Thru Awesome Sex. Rast is committed to each and every human being living a life that they love with passion, freedom, and full self-expression.
Maggie’s childhood had a big impact on her current goals and mission through WPS. Her mother longed to be an entrepreneur in the 1960’s, which was socially unacceptable for women at the time, and was determined to always try something new. Maggie’s father designed rockets for NASA, and thought math was merely a tool to be used to create and instilled this in his sons and daughters alike.
Her family breathed creativity, innovation, and exploration, just as she does now. Her and her siblings and ran wild, explored, went on adventures, and came back alive much to their parent’s delight!
Maggie has a well established professional history of creative architectural design. Over the last 30 years, Rast Architectural Studio, Inc., has been honored with numerous design awards, thrived on “word of mouth” advertising. With her artistic and authentic qualities, Maggie has produced hundreds of amazing custom homes, additions, and builder production homes, townhomes, and condominiums.
For the next 30 years, Maggie’s goal is to live by and educate about the connection between “World Peace” and “Awesome Sex”, an exploration of how the conversations around authentic communication, respect, and becoming a contribution can be practiced in our most intimate relationships, continuing to expand. WP/AS is a grass roots movement that connects us all, at the most basic level of humanity- freedom, passion, and full self-expression becoming the new normal.
